Near Protocol (NEAR) has fallen 9.2% in the last 24 hours, dropping to 21st in market capitalization. This marks the first decline since re-entering the top 20 in October. Although the community passed a proposal to reduce token issuance (HSP-029), market-wide corrections and a risk-averse sentiment are believed to have influenced the drop.

Pearl has been added to NEAR Intent, NEAR Protocol's cross-chain exchange service, enabling exchanges with assets from over 35 chains. This provides a pathway to convert Pearl mining rewards into other assets, but does not necessarily signify an increase in actual Pearl demand. Research is also underway on combining AI computation with mining.

Bitcoin has recovered to $80,000, but open interest in futures remains stagnant, suggesting limited new leverage inflows. While spot ETFs have seen net inflows, the negative Coinbase premium indicator raises questions about spot demand. Short position liquidations fueled the initial rise, but sustained upward momentum will require further spot fund inflows.

CoinNess

Bithumb plans to temporarily suspend NEAR deposits and withdrawals starting from 12 PM on the 6th to support the Near Protocol (NEAR) network upgrade. Deposits and withdrawals will resume after the upgrade is completed.

In the domestic cryptocurrency market, XRP's trading volume is 9.1 times higher globally, indicating significant interest. While STX and WLD also show a strong concentration in the domestic market, their trading volumes do not match XRP's. Conversely, HYPE and BNB appear to be more actively traded overseas.
