The Era of AI Agent Teams: AgentSpace

That is, "How do we manage multiple AI agents together?"

The recently released AgentSpace is an open-source project designed to solve this challenge.

AgentSpace aims to build a workspace where multiple AI agents can collaborate as a team, rather than relying on a single AI to handle every task.

Why is it gaining attention?

Until now, many AI agent frameworks have focused on executing a single agent efficiently.

However, in real-world workflows, it is often more natural to have agents with different roles—such as research, development, and review—working together.

AgentSpace provides a structure for managing agents as an organization, distributing tasks, and enabling collaboration among multiple agents.

It is impressive that it views agents not merely as chatbots, but as a digital team.

The Idea of AgentRouter

One particularly interesting feature is AgentRouter.

Recently, various agent execution environments like Claude Code, Codex, and Hermes have emerged.

AgentSpace proposes a structure that can route tasks to the most suitable execution engine based on the situation, rather than being locked into a specific model or environment.

In short, it decouples agents from their execution engines.

As the AI ecosystem becomes more diverse, the importance of this structure will only continue to grow.

Future Potential

In an era where AI agents become real digital workers, managing how multiple agents operate together may soon become more important than just "building one good agent."
