OpenTodo, a task management tool that keeps your to-dos and notes on your own server
When to-dos are scattered across checklists, meeting notes across documents, and recurring events across calendars, you end up transcribing the same information multiple times.
OpenTodo is an open-source to-do management app that lets you store tasks on a server you run yourself and share lists with family or teams.

See your day at a glance
The Today screen provides a quick update on overdue tasks, busy days, and replies that need your attention. This summary is not generated by AI, but calculated on-device based on your task information.
Projects can be viewed in lists, boards, or timelines, and you can assign team members in shared projects. Tasks stored on your device can be edited offline and synchronized with the server once the connection is restored.
Integrated recurring events and notes
The 0.19.0 update now displays future recurring events on the calendar, allowing you to modify individual occurrences or change the schedule from a specific date onward. A Notes page has also been added to aggregate notes attached to tasks and projects, along with standalone notes.
Who is this for?
This is worth considering for those who want to manage their personal project or small team's task data themselves. The app is free and open-source, but you are responsible for server installation, updates, and backups, and you should also account for hosting costs. You can first explore the interface via the official browser demo.
