Winklevoss: "AI investment peaking; BTC and ZEC next in line"

Gemini co-founder Cameron Winklevoss has made an interesting claim. He suggests that the AI investment cycle, currently dominating global markets, will soon reach its peak, and that funds may subsequently shift toward sound money alternatives like Bitcoin and Zcash.

In fact, with the correlation between KOSPI and NASDAQ reaching a five-year high recently, global stock markets are heavily tied to AI infrastructure investments. Given how much capital is concentrated in the AI sector, there is a strong possibility that investors will look for new avenues for asset allocation if AI growth slows down or investment fatigue sets in.

Personally, I find this quite a fresh perspective. However, I remain skeptical about whether liquidity exiting AI will flow directly and en masse into the crypto market, especially into privacy coins like Zcash, given the ongoing regulatory pressure. While Bitcoin has already established itself as an institutional asset, I think we need to wait for clearer signals in capital flow before expecting that warmth to spread to altcoins.
