Recently, following its earnings announcement, ARK Invest has been rapidly rebalancing its portfolio toward infrastructure-layer assets by acquiring additional stakes in stablecoin issuer Circle and SpaceX. This is an intriguing signal suggesting that some institutional capital, which had previously been flowing into Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs, is now turning directly toward deeper business models and infrastructure within the ecosystem.
In fact, the market is already capturing a rotation trend among institutions, where capital is shifting from simple spot ETFs toward high-yield infrastructure assets that generate actual returns, such as Ethereum native staking or stakes in core infrastructure companies. It will be interesting to see whether ARK’s move to secure a firm foothold in stablecoins and hardware infrastructure will influence the next steps of other major asset managers. 😄
