Major U.S. bank US Bancorp has conducted cross-border remittance tests using its native stablecoin, USBDC, on the Stellar blockchain. With payment firms Marqeta and BVNK partnering to build a stablecoin-based card payment system, it appears that digital dollars are becoming more deeply integrated into traditional financial payment networks.

While stablecoins have primarily been used as investment capital within crypto exchanges, they are now expanding their footprint into the real-world economy, including actual cross-border bank transfers and everyday card payments. It's a positive sign that this utility-focused infrastructure investment is quietly accumulating, regardless of market volatility. The day we naturally swipe crypto cards in our daily lives might come sooner than we think! ๐Ÿ˜„
