A CCTV video uploaded by YouTuber Park We has shaken the internet, with the aftermath spreading to his wife, singer Song Ji-eun. On August 21, Park uploaded a video to his YouTube channel showing a wheelchair fall accident he experienced on a KTX platform. While descending a ramp, his wheel caught on the foot of a social service agent who was trying to assist him, causing him to tip over. Even though the employee apologized immediately on the spot, the public's reaction turned sharply cold after a YouTuber with 1 million subscribers publicly pointed out a private individual's mistake as if to "expose" them.

Amidst fierce criticism that a person of influence had publicly shamed someone in a weaker position, Park deleted the video the following day, the 22nd, and posted an apology acknowledging his thoughtlessness. However, the arrows of anger were unexpectedly directed at his wife Song Ji-eun's social media. The controversy grew more complex after Kim Dong-wan of the group Shinhwa stepped in to defend Park. Kim stated that since Park is also new to life as a person with a disability, he may have been sensitive about safety issues, adding that it is unfortunate to see an individual suddenly become the target of national condemnation.
