Bayern Munich reclaimed the top spot in the Bundesliga with a commanding 6-1 victory over Leipzig. In the highly anticipated 2026-27 Bundesliga Matchday 6 clash at the Allianz Arena, Bayern overwhelmed their opponents on both ends of the pitch. At the heart of the attack was Luis Díaz, who netted a hat-trick. Díaz opened the scoring in the 12th minute and continued his firepower display well into the second half, with Aleksandar Pavlović, Michael Olise, and Harry Kane also joining the goal-scoring spree to dismantle the Leipzig defense. Defensively, Kim Min-jae started alongside Dayot Upamecano as a center-back, delivering a stable, nearly full-time performance. Kim effectively intercepted Leipzig’s counterattacks at every turn, providing a rock-solid foundation for the team's 6-1 rout. With this win, Bayern reached 14 points, taking sole possession of first place and establishing clear dominance early in the season.
