If body scan data provided for a shoot is also used for AI image generation, would it be possible to verify the person's consent each time?

The ETHGlobal Tokyo entry 'consent-ledger' is a project that started with this question. It provides a way to look up consent records linked to the AI generation process and respond according to states such as allow, deny, request confirmation, and revoke.

According to the team, the scanned images themselves are not stored; instead, permissions for each purpose are recorded on the Ethereum testnet. If consent is revoked, it ensures that subsequent requests can be checked.

As an experimental project built at a hackathon, real-world application and effectiveness in protection still need further verification. It also does not mean it blocks use by other unconnected AI tools.
